Lighting lump charcoal doesn't need to be a challenge. To keep this task simple, we recommend using a Charcoal Starter. Simply fill up the Charcoal Starter with lump charcoal, and place on a heat-resistant surface (usually inside the open-flame BBQ you will pour the charcoal into). Pop 2 or 3 Natural Firelighters under the starter and light. Wait until the Lump Charcoal has turned ash grey or fire red before pouring into your open-fuel bbq. Add additional lump charcoal as necessary throughout the cook to maintain time and temperature.
